What problem is included?
Ask for the known water source, each affected room and the observed materials in writing. Confirm whether the source repair is included or assigned to a plumber, roofer or other trade.

Separate removal, drying and repair.
Ask which water removal, demolition, drying equipment, monitoring visits, cleaning, disposal and rebuilding are included. A useful estimate states exclusions and how additions will be approved.
Records
What evidence will you receive?
Request measurements, photographs, equipment and visit records where applicable. Ask who signs off on completion and how a change in scope is priced. No price on this site is a local quote.
